Two days ago we told you that Land Rover will launch a new seven-seat model based on the Freelander platform. Today we bring you the name of this future model: "Ventura" and will be launched in 2012.Built on the Freelander’s platform the Ventura will have its own unique design. The car is Land Rover’s response to makers like Audi, Volvo, Saab and Mercedes, respectively with Q5, XC60, 9-4X and the GLK.Until the Ventura will be launched we will see the production version of the LRX Concept coming in 2010.

2010 New Land Rover

The three-door LRX is a sub-Freelander model, mooted to go on sale in 2010 and claimed to be the greenest-ever Land Rover. It is also the first all-new Land Rover revealed since Gerry McGovern became the company's design director.
